It was a true pleasure to record this episode. Please forgive the audio quality and un-even levels in some spots – mostly my intro – and don’t let it deter you from listening as the interview itself is clear and full of valuable insights and perspectives.
We dive deep into love, sex, relationships, intimacy, health and much more.
While my expertise lies in nutrition and lifestyle design, it’s becoming ever more clear to me that once we’ve laid the foundation for our physical health that the next step is in addressing our emotional and energetic blocks and if you’re anything like me you have a fair amount of baggage that you were given as a child around sex and intimacy. Our sexual center is our creative center and the reproductive impulse lies at the foundation of who we are as human beings. I’ve heard before and experienced it as true that how you are in bed is how you are in life. How you make love is how you love the world. With this in mind I encourage you to open up, empty your mind, and consider what might be a controversial or triggering perspective.
At the end of the day we all want to be loved, to be seen, to be felt and to feel others close to us and unless we get real about the craziness surrounding modern sexuality in the west and the dis-empowering conditioning / messages that are still pervasive then I don’t think we have much chance of overcoming those blocks and channeling our creative juices in the healthiest and most beneficial ways.
Adi is a beautiful individual with many gifts to share which is why I was determined to have him on. As you’ll hear in the interview he has experience as a hip-hop artist under the alias Mind Bender Supreme as well as a sex/porn/intimacy persona known as Malcolm Lovejoy. He is truly a multi-dimensional individual with a big heart and a desire to make things better.
Some of what we talk about will be considered taboo and might make you uncomfortable which is usually a sign that you are resisting an aspect of yourself.
