This is a solo episode that I recorded after doing a 3 day modified fast in order to reset my system and welcome the new year. In the past, I’ve played with one-day fasts, three-day juice fasts, and intermittent fasting and so this episode is just a sharing of my experiences as well as a walk through some of the different ways you can fast as well as the benefits behind such practices.
This was spurred on after doing a fast with my friends from the Living Proof Institute in order to start the new year off on the right foot. Besides the physical benefits, the emotional, mental and spiritual connection that one can experience while fasting is profound and as such I am an advocate and user of these kinds of practices.
